Daniel Muir purchased a property in Logansport, Indiana, in 2020, which now serves as a satellite location for the religious movement. The property, named “Straitway Goshen,” houses multiple buildings and is a gathering place for members of the religious group. Robert Mathis, a former NFL player and Colts Ring of Honor inductee, is also associated with Straitway and is known to interact with the Muir family.
Following their arrest, Daniel and Kristen Muir were detained and questioned by Indiana State Police. While other individuals at the property were also questioned, the Muirs were the only ones arrested.
